…while I pondered weak and weary." If you’re pondering what to do now that Halloween is over and there are no more horror film marathons on cable television, look no further. The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company invites you to get up close and personal with some of the most horrifying and suspenseful tales ever told. CSC's one-man show, Poe, concludes this week so don't miss your chance to see renowned actor Giles Davies deliver the life and works of Edgar Allen Poe. Poe-who would have been 200 years old this year-was master of the Gothic story and his classic stories and poems like "The Tell-Tale Heart" and "Annabel Lee" will be a part of Davies' act. Bust out those leg warmers and join Playhouse South's graduating class of William Ocean High School on their senior year rollercoaster of fun, heartbreak, love and growing up in Back to the 80’s. This musical has all the key 80's elements, from a Star Wars dream sequence to twenty cans of hair spray applied to girls with an overload of blue eye shadow, an obligatory 80’s party scene and the high-energy dance routines set to classics including Footloose, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and many, many more-over 20 original hits to be exact. The Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Train is coming to Southgate House this Saturday night. The 11th Annual Boogie and Blues Piano Summit brings national, international and local musicians like Lluis Coloma, Lisa Otey, Barrelhouse Chuck, Ricky Nye, Steve Perakis and many more under one roof. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. in the Ballroom. Tickets are $20.00 and available here.
