Some of the best things in life involve the word "aid", teacher's aid, hearing aid and of course, Kool-Aid. You now have the opportunity to be associated with a new kind of "cool aid" through the Association for India’s Development - a non-profit, voluntary organization that supports a wide variety of social service and development projects addressing problems such as literacy, health care, rural credit, vocational training, women's empowerment and children's welfare. AID sponsors a variety of cross-cultural programs to raise awareness and gain support for its over 250 projects in India today. One such program is Harmony, a musical concert presented by the Cincinnati chapter of AID, and it's taking place this Saturday at Kresge Auditorium at the University of Cincinnati. Indian Ocean will be the featured act of this year's Harmony. Come submerse yourself in their richly diverse tones and high energy, which Indian Ocean as, "the sound of contemporary India getting to know itself." Concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and tickets range from $15.00-$25.00; free for UC students. Click here for details and tickets.
