Well-Fed
August 26
Cincinnati E.A.T.S dedicates itself to discovering great local independent eateries and this month's visit to
Sung Korean Bistro downtown is no exception. EATS' hip diners enjoy a multi-course menu at a discounted price - in this case, a traditional shared dishes Korean feast. Come early to mingle and meet your fellow dinner guests while the dj spins tunes. And its all for a good cause - the evening benefits
Cincinnati Cooks, a Freestore/Foodbank program that trains adults for the food service industry. Register

Salsa Anyone?August 27-30
Don't bust out the tortilla chips just yet, the kind of salsa we're talking about involves
swaying of the hips and fancy twirls-but it can be just as spicy. The second annual
Cincinnati Salsa Festival kicks-off this Thursday night on Fountain Square and the cha cha's continue through Sunday evening. There will be four days of salsa dancing, workshops and demonstrations as well as food and live music from Son Del Caribe, Salsa Chicago Mambo All Stars and Casablanca. Also see competitors samba it out in the Tri-State Salsa Championship. Locations of lessons and festivities vary so be sure to check out the Festival's
website so you don't miss a beat.
Self-HelpAugust 27
Want to gain success and riches in the
business world? With '4 For Success Levers'
and an hour of your time, Denny Martin can make it happen. Martin and his associate invite you to their 'self-help seminar' this Thursday evening as
The Success Show takes the stage at
Know Theatre of Cincinnati. Laugh your way through their debacle of a presentation which, because of ticket cost, only leaves you $12 poorer by the end.
The Success Show is only showing for three nights so get your tickets early - this is one seminar you won't be doodling your way through. Click
here for tickets and more info.
TAILGATE TimeAugust 29
We've got Chad Ochocinco kicking extra points and the Bearcats juiced after their Orange Bowl post-season appearance. Can't wait to see what
this football season has in store? Join fellow tailgaters on Fountain Square Sunday afternoon for the official
Tailgate Bash celebrating the kick-off of football tailgate season. Enjoy food, beer, and music with thousands of other fans. Not enough excitement for you? Watch the Professional World Cornhole Championship which will also be taking place that day. And if you don't have mad skills throwing bags into holes, there will be non-professional cornhole available too. This year's honorary host is Bengal QB, Carson Palmer. The party starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 6:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit
