If you thought it was difficult to refrain from touching statues at the museum, try not taking a bite out of The Carnegie's latest exhibit. The Art of Food. In collaboration with local culinary masters, local artists create an art exhibit in which food is both the inspiration and the pallet. This two week exhibit goes way beyond the cake decorating contests on the Food Network, as these unique works of art transform foods into a true sensory experience. Join artists Eric Brass, Randel Plowman along with reps from JeanRo Bistro and Via Vite this Friday as the elaborate sculptures will be unveiled. Exhibit continues through March 20. Bockin' in the Spring

It's time to separate the true Cincinnatians from those of us just living here. What is Bock and why do we celebrate it? So You Think You Can Direct?

Join directors from Cincinnati theaters this weekend for a competition of a different nature. Stage directors are taking off the gloves to present their best 30-minute pieces for the Third Annual Cincinnati Directors Competition. Featuring six different directors presenting six different short performances that are ajudicated by a panel of professionals as well as the audience. The competition ends Sunday with the top winners of the previous two nights squaring off for a final show down.  Buy a weekend pass here.

Cincinnati Reel Scene: A Night in the Frame
On Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 8 pm to 1 am the Film Commission will be hosting Framing Hanley with special guest Annette Shepard and the Busted Organ Funk Trust.
