On Dec. 8, developers, nonprofits, philanthropists and community members gathered for the first ever
IDEALAB, presented by Soapbox Media and Issue Media Group.
Eight panelists from Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit and Minneapolis presented their ideas, projects and best practices, followed by a keynote address from Eric Avner of The Haile Foundation. Attendees then went on a tour to hear about three Cincinnati projects: the
Hellmann Creative Center; the educational partnership between
Cincinnati Children's Hospital,
Cincinnati Public Schools and
StrivePartnership; and the food innovation district vision for
Findlay Market.
