For me, the best part of being a journalist is getting to be a lifelong student of, well, life. Every story begets adventures in learning. Every interview brings an unexpected lesson. Every deadline pushes my creative limits.
This month Soapbox explores the world of learning in Cincinnati -- in as many forms as we can manage in five issues. While local school doors reopen and students head back to classrooms with dreamy sighs of summer, we tap into the behind-the-scenes tales that cultivate knowledge around town and beyond.
Some stories focus on existing educational systems and program as we follow teachers and learners down freshly painted hallways to find out what works. Others highlight innovations and explore what's at stake as our region stretches and grows. Still others uncover overlooked resources around town, including literary journals like The Cincinnati Review and Forklift Ohio.
Along the way, we welcome your feedback, your ideas and your follows. If you haven't already,
