In 1994, Jeff Eberlein and Tony Magliano purchased a six-employee graphic design shop and christened it “Strata-G Communications.” Over the last 14 years they have grown the business to its current ranking as one of Cincinnati’s largest advertising agencies, with more than 60 employees, topped by 20 percent growth in 2007.
Strata-G is an integrated marketing communications firm specializing in strategic advertising and promotion, brand evelopment, public relations, direct marketing, Web site development and interactive solutions. One of its fastest-growing areas is its public relations practice, which represents the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau, Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corp., Gold Star Chili, Toyota Boshoku America and Bosch Tools, among others.
The firm has developed strategic programs that build awareness and market share for a diverse clientele, including regional, national and international leaders in finance, investments, insurance, hospitality, building products, power tools and outdoor equipment. Managing Partner Jeff Eberlein says there's no secret to the agency's growth: it gets results. "Focusing on metrics and ROI has been crucial to our business, and being able to not just offer, but really deliver truly integrated marketing solutions has been key to our growth and success," he says.
Strata-G has worked with major financial services clients including U.S. Bank and nearly 15 years working with First Financial Bancorp of Hamilton, Ohio. Other national accounts include USI Holdings, the 10th largest insurance holding company in the United States, Timber Tech and Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division. Strata-G was recently named agency of record for Avery Dennison RFID.
