The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is touring the Midwest in a fully electric Chevy Bolt to profile the cities that are taking advantage of innovative modes of electric transportation.

In their latest post, Cincinnati is one of three cities highlighted for having a variety of electric vehicle (EV) ride options, including the single-rail Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar, and free or low-cost electric ride hailing companies like Gest Carts and Oggo.

“We’re excited about the steps that Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis have taken in expanding transportation electrification in their cities,” note the writers, who are touring to get the word out about the benefits of EVs, shatter stereotypes, and offer tips and suggestions for further progress.
