Commonwealth Comedy Club is Cincinnati’s home for exquisitely curated live entertainment. Each week we bring you hilarious stand-up comedians, intimate concerts, unique theater productions, live podcast recordings, and so much more. Commonwealth Comedy Club is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews. We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as a full bar. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as…

Naps, Nebulas, and Neurons Exhibition Opening
Presented by 1001 Colors at Your Name Here Gallery Cincinnati, OH
1001 Colors is delighted to present the fourth Gallery Fellow exhibition of the season, Naps, Nebulas, and Neurons: Mark-Making as a Pathway to Radiance. Led by artist-in-residence Daryl Myntia Daniels, Naps, Nebulas and Neurons presents the work of seven emerging artists exploring how personal objects and cultural tools can become extensions of self-expression through mark-making. Rooted in Daniels’ signature use of the Afro pick as both a drawing tool and cultural symbol, Fellows learned how to translate small, hand-drawn marks into layered prints and digital compositions, experimenting with scanning, printmaking, and digital art techniques to uncover how texture, rhythm, and repetition can reveal hidden surfaces and unseen energy contributing to a final exhibition that celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and collective healing. Please join us for the exhibition opening on Friday, July 31, from 5-7 PM at 1001 Colors' Your Name Here gallery. An Evening With Cincy Sessions: Featuring Maria Carrelli and Robert L
Presented by Infinite Hills Productions at The Hidden Chapter Bookstore Fort Thomas, KY
Hailing from Ludlow, Kentucky, Carrelli draws strongly from Appalachian bluegrass and traditional country music, transitioning between upbeat tempos and melody-driven ballads on her debut solo record. Having already traveled extensively with multiple folk and bluegrass groups, her musicianship and songwriting ability act as strong complements to her unique lyrical style. With influences ranging from genre mainstays like Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson all the way to current innovators (Kacey Musgraves’ recent Grammy sweep comes to mind), Carrelli represents a free-thinking, adventurous trend in modern country and bluegrass. - Courtney Phenicie, Cincymusic.com Robert L. spends most of his time orbiting the planet you call Earth. In his off-time, he enjoys whale watching from above, surfing the solar winds, and occasionally diving through the atmosphere into one of the human cities to experience its nightlife. He has written songs about some of these experiences. You may be familiar with some of these experiences too. The Hidden Chapter Bookstore is a beautiful space right in the heart of Fort Thomas, KY, just a short drive from Cincinnati. Not only a bookstore, they feature a cafe, full bar, and hold many community focused evenings. There will be tickets available at the door but since we have a limited number of seats, your best bet is to get a ticket now to ensure you can get in!
