Savoring Spring Seasonal Cooking Class for Ages 21+ Friday, April 10th, 2026 | 6:00-8:00pm Back by Popular Demand! Spring brings a bounty of new life and fresh, tender veggies! In this class, you will utilize the earliest, freshest, and locally available ingredients to create a beautiful and satisfying meal while enjoying an adult beverage if you desire. Mary will guide you through the basics of selecting, seasoning, and cooking early Spring veggies. You’ll make a Rustic Greens Pie with Walnut Crust (perfect for any day of the week, or as a dish to share with friends), and a delectable sauté to accompany a variety of grains (in this class, you’ll make polenta). As many ingredients as possible will be sourced from local farms! Enjoy two adult beverages during class from a menu of beer and wine options. Class is for ages 16+, students work in pairs. Please register by April 6th. osh Gondelman is a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York City, where he currently lives. He recently worked as the head writer and an executive producer for Desus & Mero on Showtime. Gondelman also contributed to the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which was a thrill for both him and his parents. Prior to that, he spent five years at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, first as a web producer and then as a staff writer where he earned four Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards, and three WGA Awards. His debut standup special People Pleaser (2022) was produced by Comedy Dynamics and is available to stream now, as is his brand new standup special (and album) Positive Reinforcement (2025) produced by Blonde Medicine and Moxie Pictures. If Gondelman’s face seems familiar, you may recognize it from his appearances on Conan (TBS), Late Night With Seth Meyers (NBC), and The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS). But you may also know his voice from his regular appearances on the NPR news quiz show Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. Gondelman is also the author of the essay collection Nice Try: Stories of Best Intentions and Mixed Results published September 2019 by Harper Perennial. A patriotic triple bill concludes the 2025-2026 Season at the Aronoff Center, featuring works from choreographers Justin Peck, and Claudia Schreier, and a regional premiere from George Balanchine. Peck’s The Times Are Racing draws inspiration from a variety of dance styles while matching Dan Deacon’s electronic score with youthful impulse and vigor. Schreier’s First Impulse is a neoclassical style rooted in contemporary ballet concepts. Balanchine’s Serenade is a milestone in the history of dance, as the first original ballet George Balanchine created in America.
