Cincy Fringe: Antonym
Presented by Cincinnati Fringe Festival at First Lutheran Church Cincinnati, OH
A world built on aphorisms, a society bound by alienation, logic sparked from creative madness. (Ever had an urge to give Kafka a hug? Or put on a puppet show for Bukowski?) Join us as we dive into the absurdity that is human existence bound by opposition. Category: Physical Theatre | Puppetry Tags: absurd, fantastical, kafkaesque Rating: PG-13 (13+) Artist Bio Solasta Theatre Lab’s mission is to spark a creative metamorphosis through the process and eventual product. By being a light in a time of darkness, we create art that helps us reconnect with ourselves and our community. In addition to their desire to bring puppet theatre and abstract movement work to the general audience, Solasta Theatre Lab’s vision is to explore the subtext of society on stage and to cultivate conversation through non-traditional storytelling techniques. This project is supported by the generosity of tens of thousands of contributors to the annual ArtsWave Campaign, the Cincinnati region's primary source for arts funding.
