Pre-Teen Pottery Ages 10 – 13 $79/members, $99/non-members Instructor: Abbie Webster Thursdays | 6:30 – 8pm March 12 – April 16 Dig into clay and learn hand-building techniques such as slab building, coiling, and pinch pots. Here’s a fun way for kids to stay in shape and improve their balance, strength, and flexibility. Students will learn different poses and relaxation techniques. Students should bring a mat to each class. Blocks and straps are provided. Kids Yoga is taught by Sandy Terry, an experienced yoga instructor. Sandy will share her love of yoga with kids of all ages and abilities. Intermediate Wheel : 6 WEEKS MAR-APR : Thursdays

Ages 15 & older, 6-week sessions $165 for non-members/ $150 for members All Supplies Included Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. ArtsConnect offers pottery wheel classes for all levels: Intro, Intermediate and Advanced. Start with the Intro and progressively get better! Intro to Wheel, teaches participants the basics of throwing clay on a pottery wheel. Students will learn important pottery studio rules and procedures used in all of our pottery classes. Intro to Wheel class is mandatory for those wanting to buy a pottery studio pass to use the studio during open times. This class will help students refine their centering skills, learn to throw larger items and work on attachments such as handles and lids. Materials Included: 25 lb clay, glaze, firing and use of tools. Intermediate to Wheel is offered twice a week, Monday mornings and Thursday evenings. Once students have mastered the basic skills of the wheel then move to our Advanced Wheel class. The Advanced Wheel class offers more challenging and advanced techniques. Participants must be proficient in centering, have taken Intermediate Wheel or have instructor recommendation. The cost of each pottery class includes all supplies. Supplies provided are: 25 lb white clay, glazes, all the firing needed, and the use of our clay tools. These classes are free and are open to participants 16+. These classes run from 5:30pm-7pm every Thursday. During each session attendees will have 10-15 minutes to have a group discussion about their work after a 2 hour drawing session. Each month we will focus on a different still life with different themes. These still lives will be sustained ones we'll be working on weekly and workshopping as a group. We provide materials such as drawing boards, paper, canvas, paint , and drawing utensils. Participants ,however, are free to bring materials they would like to use or experiment with. These classes are free to members and $5 for non-members. This project is supported by the generosity of tens of thousands of contributors to the annual ArtsWave Campaign, the Cincinnati region's primary source for arts funding. Comedian Chris D’Elia has announced a new run of dates for his Go For It! The Tour, that includes a stop in Cincinnati, OH for a performance at Taft Theatre on Friday, April 3. About CHRIS D’ELIA Chris D'Elia has become one of the most in-demand performers in comedy. His highly successful podcast CONGRATULATIONS WITH CHRIS D'ELIA has been a mainstay on iTunes' comedy podcast charts since its debut in February 2017. He is also a costar on THE GOLDEN HOUR with Brendan Schaub and Erik Griffin. As a stand-up comedian, D'Elia has toured the US and Canada. D'Elia has three comedy specials available on Netflix, NO PAIN (2020), MAN ON FIRE (2017), INCORRIGIBLE (2015), and he was chosen as one of four comics to represent the US in Netflix's 2019 Series COMEDIANS OF THE WORLD which features 47 comedians from 13 regions in eight different languages.
