Kids Digital Art & Animation : 6 WEEKS : SEPT - OCT
Presented by ArtsConnect at ArtsConnect Cincinnati, OH
Kids learn how to bring drawings to life through digital animation. During the first several classes, students will brainstorm ideas and draw characters. They will then create simple digital characters and animate them using open-source software. Students should have access to a laptop that they can bring in for the last 3 classes. If the laptops already have animation software then they may use what is installed. Otherwise, they will learn how to install free and safe open-source animation software designed for kids. Classes will be held at ArtsConnect, 9158 Winton Rd in Springfield Township. ArtsConnect is the building directly behind the Springfield Township Fire Station and Administration building. At ArtsConnect, we encourage children to explore their creativity independently to foster confidence and original thinking. While we ask that you sign your child in to class, to help your child gain the most from their class experience we kindly request that parents refrain from staying in the classroom. During class, we invite you to enjoy our complimentary coffee and tea, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating areas indoors and outdoors. If there are special circumstances that require your presence, please reach out to our Education Director beforehand.
