After eight years and 28 ongoing successful quarterly night markets hosted at the CAC in downtown Cincinnati, Market Bleu and its creators are delighted to announce the debut of a new conceptual marketplace for Cincinnati, affectionately named Market Grün. Market Grün celebrates eco-conscious living by showcasing sustainable business and their practices, nature-inspired artists and photographers, nonprofits, community forestry and related small businesses with a mission centered on environmental awareness and stewardship. Market Grün will be hosted at the newly constructed Clifton Cultural Arts Center, nestled in the tree-lined Clifton Gaslight neighborhood against the scenic backdrop of Burnet Woods. Art After Dark | Activate Your Senses!

Free. Registration not required. Treat your eyes, ears, nose, and tastebuds! DJ Mavi will provide the tunes while guests enjoy after-hours museum access. Enjoy a performance by Cincinnati-based vocalist Vidita Kanniks and harpist Rachel Miller. The duo will perform a set of songs inspired by the exhibition Longing: Painting from the Pahari Kingdoms of the Northwest Himalayas. “Come to Your Senses” with a multi-sensory experience curated by The Well. Enjoy a sound bath from Sonya Verma and Daniel Hall and help make a mandala of words, scents, and textures with artist Radha Lakshmi. Plus, help create a collaborative collage of Cincinnati and listen to a soundtrack of Cincinnati-made music in the Marek Family Commons. Enjoy cash bars and food for purchase from the Terrace Café and Cafe Mediterranean. The festivities are in celebration of Longing. Parking is limited. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Maddie Wiener has opened for Dave Attell, Anthony Jeselnik, Nikki Glaser, Joe List, Matteo Lane and others. She was selected as a New Face at the 2021 Just for Laughs Festival, and recently taped a stand up set for Comedy Central. She has also appeared on You Up w/ Nikki Glaser on Comedy Central's Sirius XM channel, and PAUSE with Sam Jay on HBO. She is a regular at The Comedy Cellar in New York City, Goodnights Comedy Club in her home state of North Carolina, and several weird bars in between. Maddie currently writes for SNL. Commonwealth Comedy Club is Cincinnati’s home for exquisitely curated live entertainment. Each week we bring you hilarious stand-up comedians, intimate concerts, unique theater productions, live podcast recordings, and so much more. Commonwealth Comedy Club is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews. We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as a full bar.
