Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati 2026 Signature Member Exhibition & Sale

The Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati (WACC) will present its 2026 WACC Signature Member Exhibition and Sale at ARTclectic Art Gallery, May 7-27, with a public opening reception on Thursday, May 7, 5:00 - 8:00 pm. ARTclectic Gallery is located at 6249 Stewart Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227. This exciting art exhibition will feature works from WACC members who have achieved signature status through a rigorous jurying process that considers an artist’s understanding and application of artistic principles, proficiency of medium, and mastery of intent. These Cincinnati women artists are enthusiastic about creating, celebrating, and sharing their work. The public is invited to join in this art experience, meet the artists, and enjoy lite refreshments and lively conversation at the May 7 opening. “We are excited to work with ARTclectic Gallery to present our annual show,” says Ivanka Lempitskiy, WACC president and signature member. “A new venue for this event, ARTclectic allows us to highlight the art in a gallery setting and take advantage of extended hours for public viewing. Gallery owner, artist and WACC member, Starr Shebesta, is graciously collaborating with us to create a spectacular event for our members as well as local art enthusiasts.” ARTclectic Gallery is owned by Starr Shebesta and has a mission to promote artwork by Cincinnati regional artists through rotational exhibitions, monthly afternoon teas, and special events. Intermediate Wheel : 6 WEEKS MAY-JUNE : Thursdays

Ages 15 & older, 6-week sessions $165 for non-members/ $150 for members All Supplies Included Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. ArtsConnect offers pottery wheel classes for all levels: Intro, Intermediate and Advanced. Start with the Intro and progressively get better! Intro to Wheel, teaches participants the basics of throwing clay on a pottery wheel. Students will learn important pottery studio rules and procedures used in all of our pottery classes. Intro to Wheel class is mandatory for those wanting to buy a pottery studio pass to use the studio during open times. This class will help students refine their centering skills, learn to throw larger items and work on attachments such as handles and lids. Materials Included: 25 lb clay, glaze, firing and use of tools. Intermediate to Wheel is offered twice a week, Monday mornings and Thursday evenings. Once students have mastered the basic skills of the wheel then move to our Advanced Wheel class. The Advanced Wheel class offers more challenging and advanced techniques. Participants must be proficient in centering, have taken Intermediate Wheel or have instructor recommendation. The cost of each pottery class includes all supplies. Supplies provided are: 25 lb white clay, glazes, all the firing needed, and the use of our clay tools. Play-Doh, kinetic sand, toys, objects, post-it notes, cut-outs, and Legos are brought to life through the magic of stop-motion animation. Students compose animated stories, characters, and magic shows in creative explorations of various materials and media. Kids Yoga : 6 WEEKS : MAY - JUNE

Here’s a fun way for kids to stay in shape and improve their balance, strength, and flexibility. Students will learn different poses and relaxation techniques. Students should bring a mat to each class. Blocks and straps are provided. Kids Yoga is taught by Sandy Terry, an experienced yoga instructor. Sandy will share her love of yoga with kids of all ages and abilities. Kids Yoga is offered on Thursdays, from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Classes are held at ArtsConnect Springfield Township Arts Center, 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, behind the fire station.
