An Evening with Cincy Sessions: Featuring David Faul & Ben Knight at The Hidden Chapter Bookstore
Presented by Infinite Hills Productions at The Hidden Chapter Bookstore Fort Thomas, KY
From the rustbelt of the American Midwest, David Faul delivers a unique blend of americana and grease-folk infused artistry. A seasoned song-writer, David's writing has been described as deeply thought-provoking, honest and personal. David writes about what he knows best; family, music, love, loss and addiction. Beyond the lyrics it's his musical arrangement's that set the band apart from traditional bluegrass, country and mainstream acts. This is in part due to David's lifelong commitment to multiple genres of music including jazz piano, classical piano and Hawaiian slack-key guitar studies. This musical maturity sets his lyric stories perfectly in melodic and unique arrangements. David is a singer-songwriter at heart and follows the tradition of his most influential songwriters - John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Randy Newman, Bob Dylan and contemporaries The Avett Brothers and John Fullbright. Ben Knight, hailing from Dixon, KY, is another tried and true americana artist. Ranging from country to rock to folk and everything in between, Ben is known for his sincere storytelling, powerful voice, and tasteful guitar. Ben has his own band, Ben Knight and the Welldiggers, and you can find them playing shows and festivals regularly around the Cincy area. The Hidden Chapter Bookstore is a beautiful space right in the heart of Fort Thomas, KY, just a short drive from Cincinnati. Not only a bookstore, they feature a cafe, full bar, and many community focused evenings.
