Register Here Handbuilding Instructor: Kerri Bram Kerri Bram is a long-time art educator teaching art since 2004. She has taught all levels from PreK through adults in various educational environments. She received her BS in Fine Art and Art Education from the College of Mount St. Joseph and MA from the Cincinnati Art Academy. Kerri utilizes her creative skills to inspire students with an opportunity to develop media mastery in the arts. She is a nurturing art instructor that uses a variety of motivations to introduce students to each project creating a stimulating learning environment. Kerri hopes to “infuse into others, the passion that I have for reading, understanding and communicating through the use of signs and symbols to communicate concepts that are both personal and universal.” Kerri teaches the ArtsConnect Preschool Pottery, Kids and Adult Hand-building and Kids Drawing Painting classes. Mindful Poetry Virtual Gathering (Free) - April 15th, 2026

Each year during April for National Poetry Month, The Well holds virtual space for poets and poetry lovers for an hour of nourishing community and creativity. The format is simple. In each session, we meditate, consider a single poem, receive a prompt, write, and then share with the group. Poems generated by attendees during this session can be submitted for publication in our 7th edition of the Mindful Poetry Moments anthology! This year's poems have been curated by Eddie Gonzalez. In this session... Poem: “Quemado, Texas” by Analicia Sotelo Mindfulness Facilitator: Patrick Raneses Poem Facilitator: Rebecca Lindenberg Come with a pen, paper, and an open heart. And keep in mind that this is a family-friendly offering. Please arrive on time. Dresden Plate Table Runner Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. March 25 – May 6 Ages 16+ Class: This class is an 7 week class that will teach students how to create their own quilted Dresden plate table runner. This class is designed for beginner-intermediate sewists with no prior experience necessary. *** The Instructor encourages students that if they own their own sewing machine, they may bring it to class to work on their project on a machine they are more familiar with. Baker Hunt still provides sewing machines for students who don’t own a machine and/or students who prefer not to transport their personal machine from home.*** What You’ll Learn: Students will begin by cutting the fabric, learning the machine, sewing the Dresden blades together before appliqueing them to a background piece. Finally, students will learn to baste and quilt their own table runner on a domestic sewing machine and how to apply binding by hand or machine. What You’ll Leave With: At the end of the class, students will have create a unique and personalized table runner.
