BEN RECTOR: Symphonies Across America
Presented by Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at Music Hall Cincinnati, OH
After his sold out appearance in 2024, Ben Rector makes his return to the Music Hall stage! In Symphonies Across America, audiences will experience a new dimension to Ben’s music that can only be experienced at the symphony. Pulling from more than 15 years of cross-country travel as a touring artist, Ben will bring anthem sing-a-longs, quippy humor and deep, meaningful lyrics — all beautifully backed by the immersive power of a symphony orchestra. Joining Ben on his symphony tour across America is his good friend, Jon McLaughlin, who’s no stranger to the symphony stage with his signature piano-driven sound. Cincinnati Heritage Program: Cincinnati’s Art Deco Architecture

Explore the bold geometry and modern spirit of Art Deco on this guided tour presented by the Cincinnati Museum Center. In the late 1920s, Cincinnati architects and developers embraced the Art Deco movement, celebrating commerce, technology, and speed through striking design. Visit architectural icons including the Art Moderne Union Terminal, the Depression Modern Dalton Avenue Post Office, the intricately detailed Times-Star Building, and the streamlined Coca-Cola Building. Guests should be prepared for walking and standing on uneven surfaces; not all locations are fully accessible. Dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to pass through a metal detector and bag screening. Standard parking rates at Union Terminal apply. The tour meets at Cincinnati Museum Center, and participants should arrive 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Participants will learn to transform raw fibers like dandelion, Virginia creeper, kudzu, and more, into cord through hand-twisting and plying techniques while exploring the historical role of cordage in textile production, tool making, and daily life. NKY History Hour: The Last Ride of John Hunt Morgan

John Hunt Morgan earned the rank of Brigadier General in the Confederate Army by successfully leading his cavalry against the U.S. Army in many battles. He was killed in Tennessee in 1863, but he wasn't done traveling after death. His remains were moved two times after his initial entombment. This story tells the tale of Morgan's post-mortem movement and how he finally came to rest in Lexington. NKY History Hour is a virtual program, offered exclusively online. April 7th – April 9th from 9:00am to 12:30pm daily Take a break and travel to the BH kitchen for all the beach vibes. Everything is edible: ocean gelatin cups, jumbo fish crackers, “Sunshine in a Bucket” soup, frozen orange cups, sanding cookies, and more! What You’ll Discover: You can bring the beach to you. In this camp you’ll discover flavors and colorful foods that transport you the beach. You’ll learn to make snacks that travel, a dessert to cool you down and soup to take your family and friends “to the beach.” What you’ll create: Work with the chef to create jumbo fish crackers, sweet corn soup, decorated cookies, frozen dessert and an edible underwater scene.
