Following his sold-out North American tour which wrapped last week, and a rousing performance of “Zombie” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! [Watch HERE], the internationally beloved and acclaimed rock star Yungblud has announced that he will be returning to North American shores in 2026 for a 24-date headline run. Starting on May 1 in Michigan, Yungblud and his band will be making stops across major cities including Cincinnati, OH for a performance at The Andrew J Brady Music Center® on May 6. This announcement follows an incredible year for the award-winning artist who recently performed a powerful tribute to his idol and friend Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV’s Video Music Awards [Watch HERE]. Earlier this month, he also announced a new collaborative EP One More Time, with rock legends Aerosmith, set for release on November 21 [Pre-order/add/save HERE]. Dresden Plate Table Runner Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. March 25 – May 6 Ages 16+ Class: This class is an 7 week class that will teach students how to create their own quilted Dresden plate table runner. This class is designed for beginner-intermediate sewists with no prior experience necessary. *** The Instructor encourages students that if they own their own sewing machine, they may bring it to class to work on their project on a machine they are more familiar with. Baker Hunt still provides sewing machines for students who don’t own a machine and/or students who prefer not to transport their personal machine from home.*** What You’ll Learn: Students will begin by cutting the fabric, learning the machine, sewing the Dresden blades together before appliqueing them to a background piece. Finally, students will learn to baste and quilt their own table runner on a domestic sewing machine and how to apply binding by hand or machine. What You’ll Leave With: At the end of the class, students will have create a unique and personalized table runner. 51st Annual Colonial Dames Talk and Tea Making – Charleston: The Work and Legacy of 18th-century Black Craftspeople

Join Dr. Tiffany Momon, Associate Professor of History at Sewanee: The University of the South, for an exploration of the skill, labor, and lived experiences of Black craftspeople in 18th-century Charleston, South Carolina. Focusing on builders, furniture makers, and other artisans, the presentation shows how their expertise shaped the city’s physical landscape and material culture amid the realities of enslavement. By foregrounding craftsmanship as both economic power and cultural expression, this lecture centers Black makers as formative figures in Charleston’s history and calls for a renewed understanding of authorship and legacy in the colonial-era built environment. Talk begins in the Fath Auditorium at 2 p.m. with tea and light bites to follow in the Great Hall and Terrace Café. About the Speaker: Dr. Tiffany Momon is an Associate Professor of History at Sewanee: The University of the South, where she advances the field of public history through teaching, research, and community-engaged scholarship. Her work is dedicated to documenting and preserving African American histories and material culture, with a particular emphasis on community-based projects and the digital humanities. Dr. Momon is the founder and co-director of the Black Craftspeople Digital Archive, a groundbreaking project that recovers and centers the lives and contributions of Black artisans and craftspeople in American history.
