Get shifted with the Country Club's newest exhibit, Shapeshifter or be the star of your favorite film at Movieoke at Below Zero Lounge.  Raleigh's Chatham County Line infuses the Southgate House this Thursday with hillbilly rock, and Final Friday boasts the finest in urban art exploration including The Forgotten exhibit prominently starring Cincinnati's architectural underbelly, at Park + Vine.

Discover what makes a manly man at Museum Gallery-Gallery Museum’s latest exhibit HUXY: MODES OF MASCULINITY. Catch Cincinnati Funk man Chris Sherman and his new Jazz, Funk and Electronica trio perform at Play by Play Café.

Catch best-selling author, Walter Mosley, discuss heaven, hell, books and plays at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park or show your support during One More Girl On A Stage. For a Better World opens at Kennedy Heights Arts Center. Soapbox’s managing photographer Scott Beseler shows off his stills in A Shot in the Dark at Fabricate all month.

Rock out at the Q102 Jingle Ball with the All-American Rejects or take a load off at Once Upon A Mattress at the Aronoff. Made In Cincinnati opens at Fabricate and Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) is sure to make you jolly.

Cincinnati supports locally owned and operated retailers with BuyCincy's Unchained day of shopping. Pieced Together opens at the Collector Art Group and the 2009 Opera Ball is going Parisian. The 13th Annual Cincinnati Entertainment Awards honors 19 categories worth of talented local musicians.

Soapicks November 10-16

Christmas is creeping up fast so get in the spirit early with Broadway Across America's newest creation, White Christmas, or get some gift ideas at The Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market. The rebellious Brits of PREFAB77 storm Covington with their first solo exhibition this side of the Atlantic, Shot at from Both Sides. Catch pint-sized starlet Kristin Chenoweth as she joins the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra for a special performance.

Soapicks November 3-9

Edgar Allen Poe turns 200 this year and to celebrate the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents the one-man show Poe. Playhouse South travels back in time with their latest production Back to the 80’s, while the 11th Annual Boogie and Blues Piano Summit hits Southgate House. Get a little taste of cajun cooking and Louisiana jazz at the Second Sunday New Orleans Jazz and Food Festival.

Soapicks October 27-November 2

Halloween week in Cincinnati has chance after chance to shake your ghoul thang to "Thriller" and much, much more. The Contemporary Art Center hosts their annual Bite Me Ball while Full Spectrum comes to an end with a Zombie Crawl through Covington and Fountain Square is doing the Monster Mash Bash. Come to Taft with a Twist to experience the haunted culture of Cincinnati or for a breather from all this Halloween madness, catch the Broadway musical Rent as it makes a stop at the Aronoff.
