Cincinnati police officer gives $100 bills to Kentucky residents ravaged by tornadoes

Sergeant Dave Corlett collected $12,000 for people in need.

After the massive storms that struck the Midwest at the end of December, one Cincinnati police officer chose to help.

Sergeant Dave Corlett raised $12,000 and drove to Dawson Springs, Kentucky, where he passed out $100 bills to residents who were cleaning up.

“My heart is full and I urge each of you to enter this Christmas with a little more appreciation for what you have,” he said just before the holiday.
