“Blue Goes Green:” local documentarian’s film will be featured on PBS

In honor of Earth Day, 50 stations will air Laure Quinlivan's documentary about the country's first Net Zero Energy police station.

In celebration of Earth Day, PBS will air “Blue Goes Green, a short documentary by Laure Quinlivan, local filmmaker, broadcast journalist, and former City Council Member.

The film covers how Cincinnati built the first Net Zero Energy police station in the country, and how this “green” construction project improved police-community relations and saved taxpayer money.

Local viewers in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky will be able to see the film on Cincinnati’s WCET on April 21st at 5:00 p.m.; on Dayton’s Think TV on April 17th at 11:00 p.m. and April 21st at 5:00 p.m.; and Kentucky’s KET on April 12th at 10:30 p.m.
