TechSolve, Portion Pac win Ohio development grants
TechSolve, Inc. and Portion Pac, Inc. have been awarded grants from the Ohio Department of Development, part of $1.8 million in state funds meant to invigorate regional economies.TechSolve, located in Bond Hill, will receive a $250,000 Thomas Edison Program grant to provide Edison Technology and Industry Center Services in concert with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program in the City of Cincinnati.Portion Pac, a division of the H.J. Heinz Company located in Mason, will receive a $50,000 Rapid Outreach Grant to purchase machinery and equipment.Portion Pac’s grant will allow the company to retain 380 jobs and to create 50 new ones.Read the full release here.
