The Model Group develops downtown Ft. Wayne
The Cincinnati-based development group is working on a $3.2 million project that includes 70 apartments and 56,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
The Model Group, a Cincinnati-based property development, construction, and management company, was selected to develop The Landing in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. It includes 70 apartments and 56,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
The Landing is designed to be a gathering space with minimal traffic and a variety of shops, restaurants, and amenities. Last week, city officials, residents, and representatives from The Model Group celebrated the completion of the streetscape work, which includes a pedestrian-friendly plaza with trees, landscaping, benches, and lighting.
The total cost of the redevelopment effort is $32.2 million and includes the construction of one new building and renovation of seven others, and is expected to be complete by next spring.
