Former Trump reality TV contestant runs for Congress in Cincinnati
In an attempt to mix up Cincinnati-area politics, Surya Yalamanchili plans on making an independent congressional run in Ohio’s 2nd Congressional District. The 28-year-old is most known for his role on the hit reality show ‘The Apprentice’ in 2007. Prior to his time on ‘The Apprentice,’ Yalamanchili had worked with Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble as a brand manager for the company’s Olay lotion franchise. Following the show he moved on to work for several social media companies including LinkedIn. This background experience is something Yalamanchili believes will serve him well on the campaign trail.
