On Saturday, Jan. 20 — one year after Donald Trump was sworn into office — locals by the thousands gathered downtown for the second annual Women’s March. Protestors met up near the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and marched 1.5 miles along Race Street and back down Vine.
The Cincinnati march was one of hundreds held across the country, organized by the national group, Women’s March Inc. In NYC, the NY Times reported that as many as 120,000 protesters attended the march. See photos below from the march, captured by UC student and photographer Gabrielle Nicole Hammarlund.
