$1.7 billion in development projects are currently in the pipeline for Northern Kentucky, and local officials are hoping that the momentum continues.

$1.7 billion in development projects are currently in the pipeline for Northern Kentucky, and local officials are hoping that the momentum continues.

Among the projects, Developer David Imboden is planning the $600 million, mixed-use Manhattan Harbour project in Dayton; Corporex has proposed the $900 million Ovation for Newport; and Capital Investment Group is currently building the $165 million SouthShore condominium and office project near the Big Mac Bridge.

GlobeSt.com reports that SouthBank Partners has scheduled a Development Day for June 6 in an attempt to lure commercial property developers to the area.

During the event, they will show off the 3,000 acres of developable land and the more than 60 commercial properties for sale in the region.
