Video feature: IDEALAB, David Nicholson & Kalia Vang
On Dec. 8, developers, nonprofits, philanthropists and community members gathered for the first ever IDEALAB. Panelists shared how they went about receiving funding for their projects. Here's the second of four resulting videos from that series.
Eight panelists from Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit and Minneapolis presented their ideas, projects and best practices, followed by a keynote address from Eric Avner of The Haile Foundation. Attendees then went on a tour to hear about three Cincinnati projects: the Hellmann Creative Center; the educational partnership between Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Public Schools and StrivePartnership; and the food innovation district vision for Findlay Market.
Panel #2: David Nicholson and Kalia Vang of the Headwaters Foundation for Justice.
