Filmed at the historic Emery Theatre in Over-the-Rhine, "First of August" combines the vocal and musical talents of Daniel Martin Moore (of Cold Spring, Ky.) and Joan Shelley with the music direction of Cameron Cochran and art direction of Michael Wilson.

Showcasing The Emery's astounding acoustics, this video is the first in a series that will feature musical artists in a variety of styles, including Over The Rhine, Steve Schmidt and the Happy Maladies.

In its debut Final Friday celebration, April 27, The Emery hosts a free concert by Moore, Shelley and Ric Hordinski (original Over The Rhine band member and Grammy nominee), as well as an art exhibition, readings and beverages from Christian Moerlein.
