Xavier University's Department of Performing Arts has announced a new partnership with
Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre.
Madcap has established a residence program at the university and will offer classes in puppet theater and theater for young audiences to Xavier students.
Though Madcap is best known for its family productions, they have also performed with the
Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra,
Cincinnati Symphony,
Cincinnati Pops, the
Cincinnati Ballet and the
Cincinnati Opera.
According to the Catholic Telegraph, students in the department will gain another method of learning that can be applied to their individual courses of study.
