The
Cincinnati Art Museum will be the only U.S. venue for an internationally acclaimed exhibition of Surrealist and Dada art, including the works of Salvador Dali, Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso, and Max Ernst.
Surrealism and Beyond explores five major themes through 250 works in a full range of artistic media, providing a comprehensive survey of the movement from its Dadaist roots through contemporary interpretations.
The exhibition was culled from the 1,200-work collection of the
Israel Museum, internationally recognized as a leading repository for research and display of important modernist movements.
The special exhibition will be on view from February 15 through May 17, and admission is free.
