Leave your pointe shoes behind while you mingle with and watch rehearsal in the studio with Cincinnati Ballet Company dancers and choreographers. This event is a wonderful chance for subscribers, donors, and ticket holders to preview the upcoming performance and meet the dancers of one of the country's leading ballet companies who make Cincinnati their stage. Enjoy delicious pizza provided by LaRosa's and sip wine from Ludlow Wines at this free event.


The Brush Factory Opening Celebration

The Brush Factory, a studio and retail space that designs and produces high quality, hand crafted goods with a focus on textiles and woodworking, is celebrating the opening of their second location in Oakley. Enjoy music, complimentary hors d'oevoures and spirits provided by the clothing and design boutique. The original design house is located in the historical art district of Brighton. Regular store hours, Tuesday thru Saturday 10 - 6, Sunday 10 - 4, will begin Friday, September 17.

Selections from the Collection of Patricia Corbett: A Vintage Designer Fashion Show

Experience the first fashion show to pay tribute to the fantastic style of major Cincinnati arts patron Patricia Corbett. This one night- only event will feature 50 outfits from the personal collection of Patricia Corbett, ranging in practicality from sophisticated loungewear and classic business chic, to exquisite cocktail dresses and formal gowns. The designers presented hail from their respective heydays of the 1950s to the 1990s. Tickets are limited, $10 each. A cash bar will be available as well as refreshments provided by A Catered Affair. Featured Corbett fashions will be for sale.

EPHIA Presents Jazz
Saturday, September 4, 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Mt. Echo Park, East Price Hill

This annual jazz series presented by The East Price Hill Improvement Association, with support from the Cincinnati Parks and Primavista, celebrates the diverse community of East Price Hill through America's finest original art form, Jazz. EPHIA is proud to bring to the stage the Wade Baker Jazz Collaboration and The Young Jazz Messengers. The event is free and open to the public. Cafe De Wheels will be on site, but picnic baskets and coolers are welcomed. Blankets or folding chairs are encouraged.

Rubber Duck Regatta

Sunday, September 5, 3:00 p.m.
Purple People Bridge at Riverfest on the Ohio River

Waddle or wade down to the river to watch the wake as 125,000 rubber ducks race 100 yards along the Serpentine Wall.  The annual Rubber Duck Regatta, which benefits the Freestore Foodbank, will be returning for its 16th year. Individuals can buy ducks to feed the hungry (one duck feeds 20 people) online or by phone at (513) 929-DUCK (3825).
