Bobbies' Art
March 19
They might not be real bobbies, but The London Police-a British art collective-still command authority, in the art world at least. The London Police, or TLP,  is comprised of two British chaps, Chaz and Bob, who have become well-known around the world as "pivotal voices in the history of street art." And thanks to some aggressive courting by The BLDG gallery, TLP have applied their brilliance to the areas of Cincinnati and Kentucky to create locally themed paintings and videography. Come check out The London Police Ride Again at The BLDG in Covington, this Friday, at the opening reception beginning at 8:00 p.m. The exhibit consists of black and white canvases, screens featuring local influences and architecture, as well as, the TLP Cinema, an intimate movie-going experience highlighting short films by the duo. Chaz and Bob have masterminded works of art that scale 6 stories, and have been featured in some of the most famous galleries in the largest cities across the globe. The exhibit continues through April 30.
